Fiordland Moments Video

We have all really loved reading your comments from the past few months. Thanks so much to those readers who chime in, ask questions, answer them (thanks Debi!), and let us know you are enjoying our adventures. It makes it so much easier to bang on this keyboard. If you didn’t see your comment pop up right away, that’s because I had to approve you as a commenter. Now that you are approved, your comments will pop up right away.

For some reason, I didn’t upload our January video! Shame on me. If you watch the Fiordland video attached, it will follow directly after. Instead of monthly videos while down in Fiordland, I did a dedicated Fiordland video. The girls narrated it for me and Isa did some of the videos. If it looks like a drone shot, that’s Isa’s work.

What an excellent video! So interesting and well done. I’ve been following your travels ever sense first meeting you many years ago at Catalina Island and gave you pirate hats and beads. What an incredible life you’re having and such talented and beautiful girls you’ve become.
Well wishes to you and your parents.

Hi Sally, I remember meeting you guys! That was really fun being in Catalina. The bison were so cool, and that is the first place that the girls snorkled. Good memories. Thanks for following along:)

Love your stories and the different perspectives you all have. Such a beautiful spot, though I remember how terrible sandflies are well from my time in NZ! That baby seal was so sweet☺️ Wishing you more wonderful adventures on Stewart Is and as you come up the East Coast!

These photos are gorgeous, Vawters! And we loved seeing the adventures along with them! You all look like life in New Zealand is agreeing with you. The girls are getting so tall! And we love Adelaide’s written voice and Isa’s action film!! Your Covid time was spent better than ours!

Love and happy journeys, Sue & Ed , St. Helena (Fish, that is!)

Isa- love the drone shots. Are you able to launch from Bayan or is that a bit risky with all the stays and lines? Send more!

    • Anne Vawter says:

Yea, I can launch from Banyan. I didn’t start it that way though. We haven’t yet launched while moving but we are practicing for that by having me fly it into Dad’s hand and he catches it. It’s hard!

Anne, great move to employee “professional” readers!! Really nice touch, Love the combination of video with naration. Yes, John, those drone shots were great. We all enjoy following your adventure through descriptive blogs and word descriptions for a few weeks; but when you arrived back into internet speed to send pictures and videos your adventures have popped out of the computer screens. Thank you for taking the time and energy to share your adventures. Adelaide and Isa —– GREAT JOB!!

wow good narration job girls! I have tried to do that a few times with painting videos and I know it is not so easy haha! very fun to hear you talking about your travels. Jolie says hello, she just had a lovely ski day, the last of the season so the snow was icy, and thin, and then in the afternoon it turned slushy and we were hoping for a little bit of sun but the day was very flat and grey, time for some spring weather for us soon I think! Adelaide are those aloe vera plants you are growing or something else? I am going to start my slower growing butterhead lettuce very soon! Isa your violin adventures are so fun to follow! Miss you all and love you.
    big hugs
